One of the access roads leading into the mountains and regional park of Sierra Espuña will remain closed until Wednesday November 30, making it impossible to reach the Ricardo Codorníu visitors’ centre via the trasvase by car, by bicycle or even on foot.
The closures will affect the road on Monday November 28 and Tuesday November 29 from 8.00 to 18.00, coinciding more or less exactly with the hours of daylight at this time of year.
However, access to the regional park and the Centro de Visitantes will still be possible as usual both via the Cuestas del Marqués and El Berro road (the RM-515) and from Totana and Aledo.
