ARCHIVED - First part of Christmas lights switched on in Murcia City
The town hall hopes to tempt shoppers into the city centre to spend some money
The town hall of Murcia city switched on part of the Christmas lights on Friday 27th November to inject a little seasonal cheer into the shopping experience of shoppers using the main shopping streets of the old quarter in areas such as Correos, Trapería and Platería.
The main Christmas lights will be switched on this coming Saturday, December 5th, brightening up the main shopping areas of Gran Vía and calle Floridablanca .
