ARCHIVED - Free entry to Cartagena tourist attractions on 25th September
Bookings MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE as group sizes are limited to comply with covid regulations
As is traditional in Cartagena on what is normally the biggest day in the week of celebrations relating to the annual Romans and Carthaginians Fiestas which have been cancelled this year due to coronavirus, the body managing the main tourist attractions in the city is holding its annual open doors day on Friday September 25th, with free entry.
This is a local holiday in Cartagena.
Throughout the day during normal opening hours, the museums and archaeological sites of the Roman Theater Museum, the Punic Wall, the Casa de la Fortuna, the Civila War Air Raid Shelter, the Castle of La Concepción, the Christmas Fort (Fuerte de Navidad) and the Roman Forum District (Barrio del Foro Romano) can be visited free of charge.
10 people will be allowed access every half hour, with prior reservation, to the different museums and sites.
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
PRE-BOOKING ESSENTIAL: Registration opens on Monday 14th and closes on Wednesday 23rd September in the morning:
Telephone 968 50 00 93 to visit:
• Punic Wall, Concepción Castle, Civil War Air Raid Shelters and Roman Forum District with entry from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm every half hour.
• Christmas Fort (Fuerte de Navidad) entry from 11:00 to 16:30 every half hour.
• Casa de la Fortuna and Augusteum entry from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm every half hour.

• Roman Theater with passes to access the theater from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm every half hour. Reservations via email: fundacion@teatroromanocartagena.org specifying name and surname, ID, telephone number and preferred time of reservation
