ARCHIVED - Los Cocedores beach in Aguilas featured on the label of the new Nutella jar
The brand has chosen 15 locations in Spain for the redesign of its new limited edition, including one in Águilas
With its new campaign, Nutella is aiming to promote local tourism in Spain and encourage people to visit the unique and charming sites that the country has to offer, one of which is the iconic Los Cocedores beach.
Curiously, while the sandy part of the beach belongs to Águilas, the water is actually considered to be part of Almería. More than 150 metres long and 20 metres wide, this golden sandy beach has unique volcanic remains in its caves and cliffs.
The other places chosen for Nutella’s special edition labels include San Juan de Gaztelugatxe (Bizkaia), which was used as the backdrop for Dragonstone in Game of Thrones; the iconic Puerta de Alcalá (Madrid), which stands in the heart of the capital as one of the five ancient royal gates to the city; and the natural park of Bardenas Reales (Navarra), which has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Then there are also the Aqueduct of Segovia (Segovia), Begur (Girona), Brihuega (Guadalajara), El Bufadero de La Garita (Las Palmas), Cabo de Gata (Almería), Cabo Touriñán (A Coruña), Cudillero (Asturias), Parque Natural de Las Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja (Alicante), Parque Natural de Ordesa y Monte Perdido (Huesca), Mérida (Badajoz) and Sóller (Mallorca).
