ARCHIVED - Mass vaccination in Torre Pacheco for those aged over 65 on Thursday May 13
No prior appointments are being given for first doses of those aged 65 upwards
The Torre Pacheco municipality is carrying out a mass vaccination on Thursday May 13 at the IFEPA showground, but will NOT be calling residents of the municipality with prior appointments, but is instead calling residents according to age bands.
First doses are being given to those aged 65 upwards and second doses for those aged over 70 who were vaccinated previously on April 15 with a first dose.
There are inevitably going to be queues, and based on the experiences of other residents in different locations, it is highly advisable to come along primed for a potentially long wait; carry water and a snack, a folding chair wouldn´t do any harm if standing causes a problem, an umbrella is really useful if it’s hot……… and a field tent and supplies could be advantageous (sorry, weak attempt at a joke).
The first set of information applies to those aged 70 upwards who were given a first dose of the vaccine on April 15:
Thursday, May 13. From 9.00 am.
Schedule for vaccination 2nd dose: - People from 70 to 79 years old, should come along at the same time at which they were vaccinated on 04/15.
Those who were vaccinated on 04/15 but came along without an appointment should come along between the following times:
9.00h.From 70 to 72 years old.
9.30h. From 73 to 75 years old.
10.00h.From 76 to 78 years old.
10.30h. People over 79 years old.
Schedule for vaccination 1st dose (people over 65 years of age who have not been vaccinated or called with an appointment):
11.00 h. 65-year-olds
11.30 h. 66-year-olds
12.00 h. 67-year-olds
12.30 h. 68-year-olds
13.00 h. 69 year olds
13.30 h. over 70 years
It is important to carry ID or Passport and Health Card.
