ARCHIVED - Saturday 8th February Free tour to discover the industrial heritage of Molina de Segura
The municipality was once the cradle of the canning industry in the region
Just a few chimneys remain today of what was once a hugely important industry in this area of the region, canning stone fruits.
This route explores this heritage and its importance at a local level.
The tour is in Spanish, but as with many of these local tours is visual and often the guide or fellow visitors speak enough English to give a general understanding.
The route departs at 17:00 from the Plaza de España and is free of charge.
