ARCHIVED - Weekly markets in Cartagena unaffected by Bank Holidays
Weekend markets, Monday’s market in Barrio Peral and the Tuesday market held in Los Belones will be open as usual throughout the festivities of ‘La Concepción and La Purisima.
Monday and Tuesday are Bank Holidays in the Region of Murcia, but the town hall department responsible for markets in Cartagena has confirmed that the regular street markets of Barrio Peral (Monday) and Los Belones (Tuesday) will both be open for ‘business as usual’ from 9am until around 2pm on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th December, both regional holidays.
The weekend markets on Saturday and Sunday will also continue as normal.
All markets will offer their usual wares whilst complying fully with all Covid19 safety regulations. Hygiene measures will be in place and must be undertaken by visitors and shoppers.
